Als je een vlekverwijderaar of wasmiddel gebruikt, spoel het dan onmiddellijk uit. Let op: sommige vlekverwijderaars bleken donkere kleuren. Sommige vlekverwijderaars kunnen de stof verkleuren als je ze erop laat zitten.
Vorm de stof opnieuw en leg hem plat neer of leg hem op een droogrek om te drogen. Drogen in een goed geventileerde ruimte tot alle vulling en stof volledig droog is.
